Reciclaje, bienestar y comodidad
Las cápsulas compostables para sistemas Nespresso de Cafés Oquendo no generan residuos y basta con tirarlas al contenedor marrón para reciclarlas. Las cápsulas compostables pueden ser depositados con café en su interior en el contenedor marrón para residuos orgánicos, ya que cuando llegan a la planta de compostaje se integran en el ciclo para convertirse en abono o compost. Están hechas principalmente de materias renovables: almidón, glucosa, fibras vegetales, materiales de relleno inorgánicos y aditivos biodegradables. En consecuencia, son veganas y están completamente libres de OMG, gluten y aluminio.

Los efectos de las cápsulas que utilizan otras marcas
Cada cápsula de seis gramos de café requiere otros tres gramos de envoltorio. Sin contar el cartón o plástico del envase que las resguarda. Apenas el 12% de los consumidores de cápsulas de aluminio o plástico las deposita en los puntos adecuados. En España ya hay más de 1,5 millones de personas que cada día toman dos o tres cafés monodosis. Es difícil reciclar las cápsulas, que pueden tirarse al contenedor amarillo. Además, muchas plantas de reciclaje no están preparadas para procesar estos productos por su pequeño tamaño y por mezclar plástico, aluminio y residuos orgánicos.
